When we hold this rod and reel combination in our hands, we still cant quite believe the price. The OMC FC Carp Rod and Reel Combo isnt just outrageously low at 69.99 – its a genuinely brilliant setup that would have been unthinkable when we were kids.

The rod is a superb 10ft carbon blank with a clean, minimalist design: signature olive green OMC FC branded, chamfered black Duplon above the reel seat, a matte black finish, and durable ceramic guides. At 3lb test curve with a super-fast taper and a really strong spine leading to a power house above the reel seat to always mean YOURE in control of the cast or the fish! Its a cracking rod in its own right and it comes into its own when it comes paired with the OMC FC Carp Reel – A fixed-spool reel preloaded with 15lb Line that also has that famous FREE-SPOOL mechanism which clicks on and off in a heartbeat (turn of the reel handle), or you can fish it traditionally on the backwind or front drag if thats your style.

Together, theyll take an angler from their first proper session right through to fishing 60100 yards with ease. Its the combo weve been most excited about as a brand, because alongside the OMC FC Bite Alarms launching at the very same time, OMC FC has now delivered something real for the carp game – not just exceptional coarse gear, but trustworthy, long-lasting carp tackle at a price for the masses.

Were blessed to be fishing for bigger fish than ever, and to have kit this good at money this fair. Thats what One More Cast is about: making your time on the bank easier and more successful, and giving you back time for the things that matter most – family and friends.
