The Deps Frilled Shad 4.7 Inches is a realistic reproduction of streamlined baitfish with enhanced real action that trembles and rolls, perfectly imitating smelt and other baitfish that live in many waters. The bait features a quivering action and unique twisting swimming action that triggers strikes from bass feeding on small forage fish.

During the retrieve, a rolling action with shaking from side to side is created automaticallyjust swim it back and the bait will do the rest. The ultra-realistic body mold includes lifelike eyes that make it look just like a baitfish, getting more bites in tough situations when bass are wary or pressured. Available in two versions with 0% salt content for maximum action and 10% salt for better casting distance.

The innovative fan-shaped lip that spreads over the head passes the water stream around the bait and creates a rolling action with unique trembling motion. The lip acts as a brake to reduce movement more slowly, making it possible to effectively work rocks and sticks where bass live. Since the hook is hidden, the lip also acts like a weedguard, allowing you to fish through cover without constant snags.
