Product Details Bullet Weights Cannonball Sinkers (sometimes called salmon ball or salmon weight) are perfectly round in shape without harsh edges that can snag. Cannonball fishing sinkers are often the preferred choice for salmon and steelhead anglers and are also commonly used in bounce ball rigs while trolling for halibut. These lead cannonball sinkers are cast with a brass eye at the top for simple rigging, and their round design permits the weights to drop straight with minimal resistance.
