Product Details Make longer, quieter casts while keeping the strength needed to control hard-pulling fish with Berkley X9 Braid, a 9-strand braided fishing line made from 100% PE fibers. Unlike conventional 8-strand braid, X9 adds an extra strand to create a smoother, rounder line that flows easily through guides for improved casting distance and reduced line noise. Its strong, thin construction gives bass, walleye, pike, salmon, steelhead, inshore, and finesse anglers the sensitivity to feel light bites, track bottom contact, rip through grass, work jigs, launch swimbaits, and manage long casts from shore or boat. Berkley X9 Braid gives anglers a dependable braided main line for spinning and casting setups when distance, strength, and smooth handling matter. 9-strand braid made from 100% PE fibers Smooth, round profile supports long and quiet casts Strong construction helps control hard-pulling fish Excellent braided main line for spinning and casting reels Test (lbs.)
