Product Details The Avet HXJ MC Two-Speed Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives offshore anglers narrow-frame control, two-speed power, and adjustable cast control for tuna, dorado, yellowtail, grouper, amberjack, and other saltwater game fish. The Magic Cast Control System uses adjustable magnetic anti-backlash control to help reduce line overrun and bird nests during casting, while also acting as a line-out adjustment for live bait fishing. Its 1 through 5 cast control knob setting lets anglers tune the reel for multiple casting weights, from lighter live baits to heavier jigs and offshore presentations. The HXJ MC Two-Speed pairs fast high-gear pickup with low-gear cranking power, giving anglers speed for clearing slack and torque for stubborn fish below the boat. Its lever drag system gives controlled pressure during hard runs, while the narrow spool profile helps manage line during offshore jigging, trolling, chunking, live baiting, and bottom fishing. Built around Avets proven saltwater reel platform, the HXJ MC Two-Speed fits anglers who want a conventional reel with two-speed gearing, lever drag control, and cast management in one compact setup.
