Product Details The Sufix 131 G-Core Braided Line ensures consistently strong construction without any weak points, providing a reliable braided line for casting, strikes, and fighting action. It features a single strand of GORE Performance Fiber for optimal roundness and reduced internal abrasion, surrounded by 12 precision braided HMPE fibers, resulting in a “super-round” line that is smoother and quieter than other lines. Improving the smoothness reduces the level of resistance in the guides, resulting in a greater casting range. This construction also increases the number of fibers at the knot, resulting in better knot tying and stronger holding power. The Low-Vis Green color braided line for bass comes in spool selections of up to 150 yards and test strengths ranging from 6-65 lbs. Built with 13 fibers (12 HMPE fibers + 1 GORE Performance Fiber in core) HMPE fibers provide high strength & sensitivity, hydrophobic water-repellent protection, and small diameter One strand of GORE for optimal roundness and reduced internal abrasion Results in a super-round line that is smoother and quieter than other lines Low-Vis Green braided line in 150-yd. spools, 6 – 65 lb. test strength Test (lbs.) Knots are 2nd to none. I use 6 lb on my main ultralight spinning setup and Ive had the same line on my reel for going on 2 years, still catch 5+ lb trout and smallmouth with zero problems. Not once in those 2 years has a knot failed or have i had a breakoff. Not once. Its more expensive but its well worth the investment and imho is 2nd to none especially for ultralight/finesse techniques in 6 lb. 10 out of 5 stars.
